1980 - 1984

Class of 1982

 

Three members of the class of 1982 had their children inducted into the National Honor
Society at LC, including Milissa (Krause) Woodward's daughter Hannah Woodward.
Missy said,    "We are very proud of our children."
1982 alumna Carolyn (Shirato) Reb's son Jeremy Reb was also inducted into the NHS.
Marie (Vendetti) Wampler of the same class of 1982 saw her son Dalton Wampler
received into the National Honor Society.

 

The class of 1982 held its 25th class reunion on August 11, 2007 in Mt. Gretna.

About 35 classmates who attended presented a  generous donation of $600 which will buy a new computer for the school in memory of their two deceased classmates, Chris Arnold and Paul Bojarcheck.  "We are proud of LC and truly loved our time there," said Missy (Krause) Woodward,  "We had a blast going down memory lane and catching up with each other."

Jean Bornemann Coleman

Jean participated in the World Tournament for softball in Disney, Florida from September 22nd to the 25th, 2006, playing for the Reamstown AA team.  Her team came in 3rd place out of 58 in her section. 


Class of 1980

 

Tom Bornemann of the class of 1980 is teaching social studies classes at Long Island City High School in Long Island, New York.  He also coaches junior varsity football and moderates a Wilderness Survival Club.  In an article in the Skyline, their school newspaper, he cited several of his high school teachers as his inspiration.  Bornemann said he felt inspired to be a teacher by former LC teachers, Sister Jonathon, SSCM, Mr. John Raytick and Mr. Hubert Connor.
