Hello, my name is Mrs. Megan Sanchez and I am the Director of Secondary Studies at Lebanon Catholic School. I oversee all things in the secondary school which includes 6th-12th grades’ teachers, students, and curriculum. A key part of my position is creating the master schedule to provide a progressive learning environment that provides a quality education for the successful future of our students. In 2016, Introduction to Spanish and German, SAT Prep, and the Virtual High School joined our curricular circuit. Despite our multifarious elective offerings at Lebanon Catholic, the Virtual High School is an exciting addition for our students who wish to enroll in courses that are not offered on campus.
I am proud to announce the following additions to our 2018-2019 course offerings: Introduction to Career Exploration (8th grade), Introduction to Entrepreneurship, and Digital Production I. We continue to broaden our course offerings to meet the needs of all of our students’ interests and future academic and career goals.
HACC’s College in the High School (CHS) has also arrived at LC! This is a new and exciting venture for our students as they have the opportunity to accrue six total college English credits this upcoming school year. We look forward to this partnership with HACC and to build upon the course offerings here at Lebanon Catholic in the very near future.
When applying as an incoming student to our school, I will review your academic records, credits, and align them to our curricular requirements. We, at Lebanon Catholic, want you to be the best student you can be when receiving our faith-based curriculum. Our enrollment continues to grow and we have found that our New Student Mentor Program has been successful for our new students in making their transition into our school as seamless as possible. This program is designed to accommodate all our new students’ needs and to give them a friendly face from day one as a Lebanon Catholic Beaver.
I look forward to working with each and every one of you and your children as they begin their journey and travel their academic path of success here at Lebanon Catholic School.
Hello, and welcome to Lebanon Catholic School! I am Mrs. Cynthia Williams and I am the Elementary Director at Lebanon Catholic School.
Lebanon Catholic School provides a safe environment where academic excellence is rooted in the Catholic faith. Our school provides academic programs to educate the whole child in an environment where students are respectful, responsible, and safe. Our curriculum follows the Diocese of Harrisburg’s Elementary curriculum.
Mass is celebrated once a month for the students, faculty, and staff. Penance Services are held for those students in grades 3, 4, and 5. The students also observe the seasons of Advent and Lent through special prayers each morning and a special Retreat Day is planned before Christmas and Easter. The Rosary is also prayed during the school year.
Students in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten each present a Thanksgiving play for their parents before the Thanksgiving holiday, while the students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade five, perform a Christmas Pageant in the month of December. The students also participate in two activity periods each month. During these activity periods, the students are able to meet with prayer partners and participate in an event together. Students in grades 4 and 5 are also able to participate in the Geography and Spelling Bees held each school year. The winners of both contests go onto participate at the Diocesan Geography and Spelling Bees.
Lebanon Catholic School realizes that each student is unique and a special child of God. We aim to educate the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
