Hello, my name is Mrs. Megan Sanchez and I am the Secondary Director here at Lebanon Catholic School. I oversee all facets in the Secondary School which includes 6th-12th grades’ teachers, students, and curriculum. A key part of my position is creating the master schedule to provide a progressive learning environment that ensures a quality education for the successful future of our students at Lebanon Catholic School. In addition to our newly instituted Introduction to Spanish and German and SAT Prep electives, the Virtual High School is a new addition to our curricular circuit which allows students to take online courses that are not offered on campus. Despite our multifarious elective offerings, this program is a wonderful opportunity for twelfth grade students to take specific career oriented courses in preparation for the collegiate level.
Future Lebanon Catholic students: When applying as an incoming student to our school, I will review your academic records, credits, and align them to our curricular requirements. We, at Lebanon Catholic, want you to be the best student you can be when receiving our faith-based curriculum. Our enrollment continues to grow, as 2016-2017 opened with over thirty new students at the secondary level. A New Student Mentor Program was established this year to accommodate the new students’ needs and to give them a friendly face from day one.
Lebanon Catholic parents: I look forward to working with each and every one of you and your children as they travel their academic path of success here at Lebanon Catholic School.
Hello, and welcome to Lebanon Catholic School! I am Mrs. Cynthia Williams and I am the Elementary Director at Lebanon Catholic School.
Lebanon Catholic School provides a safe environment where academic excellence is rooted in the Catholic faith. Our school provides academic programs to educate the whole child in an environment where students are respectful, responsible, and safe. Our curriculum follows the Diocese of Harrisburg’s Elementary curriculum.
Mass is celebrated once a month for the students, faculty, and staff. Penance Services are held for those students in grades 3, 4, and 5. The students also observe the seasons of Advent and Lent through special prayers each morning and a special Retreat Day is planned before Christmas and Easter. The Rosary is also prayed during the school year.
Students in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten each present a Thanksgiving play for their parents before the Thanksgiving holiday, while the students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade five, perform a Christmas Pageant in the month of December. The students also participate in two activity periods each month. During these activity periods, the students are able to meet with prayer partners and participate in an event together. Students in grades 4 and 5 are also able to participate in the Geography and Spelling Bees held each school year. The winners of both contests go onto participate at the Diocesan Geography and Spelling Bees.
Lebanon Catholic School realizes that each student is unique and a special child of God. We aim to educate the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
