Lebanon Catholic’s Administration is proud to announce that Junior Achievement will be coming to our school for the 2017-2018 academic school year. The Junior Achievement Program is a worldwide nonprofit organization that is designed to enhance a student’s overall academic experience in their own school setting. These enhancements occur by bringing in additional programs to do just that……..ENHANCE A CHILD’S EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE BY TAKING THEM TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
This year, our students at Lebanon Catholic School will be participating in the following Junior Achievement programs:
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT ELEMENTARY PROGRAM
This economically focused program includes six themed individual programs involving grades kindergarten through fifth. Students will receive a series of five lessons delivered by our own Lebanon Community Members.
The following themes will be presented at Lebanon Catholic School next year:
OURSELVES(K), OUR FAMILIES(1ST), OUR COMMUNITY(2ND), OUR CITY(3RD), OUR REGION(4TH),
This middle school program focuses on the financial and economic successes in the overall world we live in today in a ONE DAY program where students will rotate among classrooms where economic-based lessons will be taught by businessmen and women.
Junior Achievement’s STEM SUMMIT is a ONE DAY high school aged program that takes over the entire gymnasium for an outrageously intensive atmosphere of STEM related fun. The overall goal of this program is to encourage and inspire our students to pursue and consider the available programs and careers in the STEM field.
If you have any further questions about these programs or would like to be a volunteer for the elementary program, please contact Mrs. Megan Sanchez at (717) 273-3731 ext. 305 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
