Financial Aid & Scholarships

Financial Aid Programs

To ensure that awards are objective and financial information is handled confidentially, Lebanon Catholic School uses an outside third party assessor, FACTS, Grant & Financial Aid Assessment. All families must submit an application in order to receive any tuition assistance from LC. On-line applications are strongly recommended.

Families seeking financial assistance from Lebanon Catholic School agree to pay at least one-quarter (25%) of the annual tuition at whatever applicable rate.  Lebanon Catholic does not, and will not provide 100% tuition assistance for any family.

Lebanon Catholic School abides by all PIAA restrictions and limitations on athletic recruiting and transfers that are motivated by “athletic purposes.”

Financial Aid Made Possible By the Following Funds

Students that are applying to Lebanon Catholic School may apply for scholarship and grants directly through FACTS Grant and Financial Aid Assessment.

  • Neumann Foundation Scholarship through Education Improvement Tax Credits (EITC)
Pennsylvania Commonwealth law permits C-Corporations, Subchapter S-Corporations, Partnerships, LLC’s and other pass-through entities to earn state tax credits when providing scholarships for financially-eligible students at minimal or no cost, depending on the business’s tax liability. The EITC has accomplished what many in Pennsylvania have been advocating for years; a way for the business community to be directly involved in education! The FACTS application process is required for participation in this scholarship program.
  • Rosemary Sonni Walsh Rose Grants: Scholarships will be awarded in the form of “Rose Grants.” These grants will not be subject to the same criteria as other aid that is allocated by Lebanon Catholic’s School Board. Students may receive a “Rose Grant” in addition to other forms of aid.  Catholic and non-Catholic students may apply.  Students must maintain good standing in school and be willing to put forth effort in their academic, extra-curricular and spiritual involvement. “Rose Grants” can be as high as $750 in grades 6-12 and $250 for students in grades PreK-5th.
  • L.C. Scholarship: Lebanon Catholic is fortunate to have many endowed and named scholarships to assist families with the cost of attending LC. These scholarship funds have been established by alumni of LC in honor of family members and friends that supported the mission of Lebanon Catholic School.  Scholarships will be awarded, based on need, for any incoming students.
  • MARKTENFOURTEEN “Adopt-A-Student” Scholarship: With the grace of God and the assistance of wonderful benefactors, we are pleased to offer students the lasting gift of a Catholic education by awarding tuition assistance to families that qualify.
    • Students must be registered parishioners in a parish in the Lebanon Deanery. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must have a referral by their parish priest.
    • Funds are distributed to the children of the applicant who qualifies for the scholarship for exclusive use for tuition assistance at Lebanon Catholic School.
    • Tuition assistance varies according to the needs of the applicant. No applicant will receive the entire tuition of LCS. It is the belief that each applicant should make an effort to pay a portion of tuition to identify their commitment to Lebanon Catholic School.
    • All information regarding MARKTENFOURTEEN Scholarships is held in the most confidential manner.

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment

P.O. Box 82524

Lincoln, NE  68501-2524

All financial aid applications must be submitted to FACTS, Grant & Aid Assessment by May 15, 2017. Late applications are accepted but the availability of financial aid is significantly diminished after the application deadline. Financial Aid cannot be awarded until all required tax documents have been received and reviewed by FACTS. Please remember to submit these documents as soon as they become available.

If you have applied for Financial Aid, you will be notified of the award amount in July. Tuition payments begin in June. One or two payments of tuition may occur before the financial aid is awarded. If this is the case, your subsequent tuition payments will be adjusted to incorporate your Financial Aid.

Tuition Contract

Upon completion of the financial aid distribution process, a tuition contract will be issued for each student attending Lebanon Catholic School in 2017-18. The contract details tuition cost per student, the comprehensive fee, any payments received in advance for the 2017-18 school year, and any financial aid awarded.

Tuition Payment Process

Lebanon Catholic School requires that all tuition payments be made through the use of a convenient on-line payment plan with FACTS Tuition Management Company. Upon registering with FACTS Tuition Management, each family selects one of four tuition payment options: pay monthly, pay quarterly, pay semi-annually, or pay in full. Seniors must have tuition and fees paid by May 1.

FACTS Tuition Agreements must be activated by June 15, 2017 in order for 2017-18 scheduled payments to begin in July 2017. Delaying agreement activation decreases the number of scheduled payment opportunities, which will result in higher monthly payments.

Families are required to update their FACTS Tuition agreement profiles when changes occur relating to their Financial Institution, bank account or credit card, and demographic information.
