Early Childhood Enrollment

Do you have a preschool program?
Yes, we have a 4 year old preschool program for full or half day students.  Our half-day students attend school from 8:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and our full day students attend school from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Do you have full and half-day Kindergarten?
Yes, we have both full and half-day kindergarten programs. Our half-day students attend school from 8:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and our full day students attend school from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

How old do you have to be to enroll?
The state of Pennsylvania uses your child’s age as of September 1st as their basis for determining when a student can enroll in Kindergarten. Consequently, if your child turns 5 on or before September 1st they are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten. The same date is used in our preschool as well. So if your child turns 4 on or before September 1st they are eligible to enroll in our 4 year old preschool program.

How many students do you have enrolled there?
Enrollment varies from year to year, but we currently have a little over 375 students enrolled in Preschool-12th grade.

What is your average class size?
Class size varies based on enrollment in each grade, but the average class size is approximately 22 students per class.

How much does it cost to attend Lebanon Catholic?
Our tuition rates differ according to various factors such as grade level, number of students enrolled, Catholic vs. non Catholic etc.

Does my family need to be Catholic to attend?
All are welcome! While the Catholic faith is an integral part of school life, a number of our school students are not Catholic.

What time do classes start and end?
Our school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. for grades PreK-5. Dismissal  is at 2;40 p.m for students in grades 6-12. Our half-day kindergarten students are dismissed at 11:45 a.m.

Do you provide bus transportation?
Bus transportation to and from Lebanon Catholic School for K-12 students is provided by your local public school district. Feel free to call our school office or your school district’s transportation coordinator for details.

Do the children wear uniforms?
Yes, all children in grades 1-12 wear uniforms. Uniform requirements vary by grade level and there are different options for boys and girls.

Do you provide before or after school care?
Lebanon Catholic Schools offers After School Care (SACC) and an Extended Day program (PEARS) for parents who need to arrange for care for their children after school. It is available for a modest fee for all full-day students from dismissal until 6 p.m.
