The 3rd Annual Aaron’s Rhythm and Brews Festival will take place on Saturday October, 7th 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Saint Cecilia’s Parish Center in Lebanon, PA. The festival will once again feature Lebanon Catholic alumna, Jesse Hartman Pesta (’81) lead singer for the band Cheyenne rocking out to classic rock and Motown hits from the 70’s and 80’s from 6pm to 9pm. The cornhole tournament also returns to the festival, the competition begins at 3:30 pm with a cash prize paid to the winners. Local food trucks will prepare outstanding gastro-pub style food selections sure to please the most discriminating foodies. Tickets go on sale in August.
In addition to the music and games, there will be a sports memorabilia auction and themed gift basket raffle. Since it’s inception in 2015, the festival has been a rousing success, as it generated over $15,000 which helped to fund special projects at the school, such as “Neub’s Nook” mobile school store.
Aaron’s Rhythm and Brews Festival was created as a way to celebrate the life of 1997 LC alum Aaron Neubauer, who unexpectedly passed away in March of 2015. Aaron possessed many commendable qualities, but his strength of character and his loyalty to his loved ones are what were found to be his most admirable traits. It is with these thoughts in mind that the idea for Aaron’s music festival was born. We can think of no better way to honor Aaron’s memory than with a day of music and celebration, and can think of no better cause to give to than the school that helped to instill these exemplary qualities in him.
This event is all about making a difference in the lives of others, just like Aaron did.
