1 - A representative from the United States Army will have a display set up in the Cafeteria during the second lunch period

4- Deadline to register for the March 13th S.A.T.’s

6- A.C.T.’s

8 - Visit to the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center for those students Who signed up.

11- A representative from the United States Marine Corps will have a display set up in the Cafeteria during the second lunch period

15 - Day off! Unless it is a snow make-up day

Any Junior who is contemplating joining the Military after graduation should see Ms. Stief about re-taking the ASVAB’s on February 10th.

 

Congratulations to the Lebanon Rotary Club’s “Students of the Month” for January – Jessica Stachura and Nick Frattaroli…and to Hannah Woodward who was awarded a Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship for $1,000.

To date, 108 college applications have been filed for 31 different students. That means that 90% of the Class of 2010 has sent in at least one college application. And the acceptances are rolling in!!

 

Juniors are encouraged to consider attending the Daniel Fox Youth Scholars Institute

which will be held at Lebanon Valley June 20 – 25. Students reside on campus and participate in both academic and recreational activities. The cost of the program is $485. For more information, and a program listing, go to www.lvc.edu/youth-scholars or see Ms. Stief. The deadline for nominations is February 19 th.

 

Interested in applying for a NAVY ROTC Scholarship? Go to https://www.nrotc.navy.mil, then go to “fill out an application”…and, the United States Naval Academy Parents’ Club of Central Pennsylvania is sponsoring a bus trip to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday, March 27 th for interested students and parents. Juniors – don’t forget, it is important that you take the S.A.T. at least once in your Junior year. There are only three more test days this year – March 13, May 1 and June 5.
