Lebanon Catholic School has always paid special attention to the quality of interpersonal relations in the school community, especially those between teachers and students. This involvement ensures that the student is seen as a person whose intellectual growth is complimented with spiritual, religious, emotional, and social growth. Because, as St. John Bosco said, “education is a thing of the heart,” true formation of young people requires the personalized attention of a teacher.

What makes LC unique; however, is not simply that our students are nurtured to grow academically, spiritually, and socially; we are unique because we are much more than a school…

We are a family.

Lebanon Catholic School is registered with SEVIS, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System, and is authorized to issue I-20’s to international students through the Diocese of Harrisburg so that they may acquire an F-1 Visa.

Lebanon Catholic currently accepts high school international students to attend our school on either an I-20 or J-1 visa. Interested international students can find tuition rates and fees under ADMISSIONS >>>TUITION RATES on this website. In addition to tuition costs, all international students are required to purchase school uniforms which can be purchased through Flynn & O’Hara’s website or by visiting the store at 869 Eisenhower Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Head to toe uniform costs, including shoes, range anywhere from $250-$350. Daily lunch at Lebanon Catholic costs $2.75 with additional a la carte food options (prices vary). Home stay student placement is not done by Lebanon Catholic. Home stay arrangements should be taken care of by the international academic agency or by the biological parents of the international student. ALL international students at Lebanon Catholic have an equal opportunity to participate in all extracurricular activities while they attend our school.

Please preview our curriculum book found under the ACADEMICS tab on our website to see our current course offerings and requirements.

Recommended TOEFL scores are as follows: student entering 9/10 grades (score of 60-65 minimum) and student entering 11/12 grades (70-75 minimum). Our goal at Lebanon Catholic is to have our 12th grade international students exiting with a score of an 80 or above on their TOEFL test. Please contact Mrs. Megan F. Sanchez at msanchez@lebanoncatholicschool.org or at (717)273-3731 ext. 305 for more information regarding potential international students.

Host Family Information

Education One (E-One), an Chinese education placement company with offices on both the East and West Coasts of the US, is looking for a ministry-minded family to host a male grade 11 student attending Lebanon Catholic School for the 2018-2019 school year.

The host family should have a private bedroom with a private or shared bathroom. E-one host families provide loving parental oversight and receive guidance and support as needed from an experienced English-speaking host parent in the US. You will transport your student to and from school each day and provide 2 meals/day during school and meals on weekends. E-One provides you with an initial orientation plus support throughout the year. We work closely with you and with Lebanon Catholic to resolve any issues, questions, or concerns that arise.

Compensation exceeds the cost of food, fuel and utilities, although this should not be thought of a rental situation.

Hosting is a fun and can be a very rewarding experience that often results in friends for life. Please email me at homestay@eoneus.org.

I look forward to hearing from you.
