Math - We are reviewing place, value, exponents and decimals. Students will be receiving guidelines for their first project the week of September 8th. In it, each student will be assigned a career. They will then need to research to see how much math is used in their career.

Science - In science we will begin with a review of the Scientific Method and the proper use of the mircoscope.

Literature - We are discussing our summer reading assignment and sharing our projects in House of Dies Drear. During our discussions we have been reviewing story Elements such as setting, character, and plot.
