The sixth grade follows the Middle School & Secondary grading system
which is numeric. We also follow an Honor system.

Principal's Honors is 93% and above in all areas.
First Honors is 90% and above in all areas.
Second Honors is 85% and above in all areas.

To be eligible for any honors, students must maintain
a satisfactory grade in conduct.

Grades of 69% and below are considered failing.

I arrive at my final quarter grades in the following manner.

Math 60% Tests 20% Daily Work/Quizzes 10% Project 10% Homework	Science 60% Tests 20% Labs/Projects 10% Participation/Effort 10% Homework
Literature 40% Literature Tests 25% Vocabulary Tests 15% Class Assignments/Projects 10% Participation 10% Homework
