Course Descriptions

Geometry (10A)

This course is designed to enable students to understand the logical structure of mathematics and the useful application of geometry. Each student will be introduced to the fundamentals of geometry (plane, shapes, etc...) as well as the many real world applications.

Geometry (9H)

This course is designed to enable students to understand the logical structure of mathematics and the useful application of geometry. Each student will be introduced to the fundamentals of geometry (plane, shapes, etc...) as well as the many real world applications.

Pre-Algebra (8A)

The emphasis of this course is to provide the student with a proper understanding of basic algebraic concepts. The student, after completing this course, should be properly prepared to advance to Algebra 1. Topics such as integers, fractions, decimals, variable use and simple equation solving will be used and demonstrated through real world examples to provide each student with a functional understanding of the material.

Algebra I (9A)

This course is designed to build upon the skills developed through Pre-Algebra. Through the presentation of course topics the student will enhance his or her ability to apply algebraic concepts and skills to solve advanced problems.

Algebra II (10A)

This course is designed to build upon the skills developed through Algebra I. Through the presentation of course topics the student will enhance his or her ability to apply algebraic concepts to solve advanced problems. This course is presented in a manner will require thinking beyond numbers into logical problem solving.

Physics (12)

This course provides students with a working knowledge of the major physical laws and principles dealing with matter and energy relationships. The concepts of the course are presented through problem solving and laboratory experimentation.
