K-A NEWS FOR May 16-20th
“A Peek at the Week”
Please have your child practice their parts each night. Make sure they say it clearly and loudly, not screaming. Thank you Mrs. Skulski for co-ordinating a cookies/punch after party.
Science: The sun and the moon
Rhyme Time: Mother Goose is still on the loose in K-A
Show and Tell: Write two words that rhyme, ex. boy, toy. The children will say: I rhyme with boy, I am a ….? We will guess the rhyming word. Please bring in a show and tell this is a great opportunity for the children to talk in front of a group.
The children this week did a great job with Show and Tell. Let’s do it again.
New Words: Practice reading Practice sentence 23 & 24. Keep reading all of our words. Read anything, signs, newspaper, find the weather section, what will the weather be tomorrow? The week? Read magazines, cereal boxs~anything. Just keep them reading.
