Hello, I am Mrs. Meredith Smiley and my first grade class of 20 students had a great time hosting Wally.
The name of our school is Oak Forest Elementary and we are located in Memphis, Tennessee.
Did you know that Memphis is the home of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley!!!??
We loved hosting Wally and hope everyone out there enjoys our pictures.
We took Wally to meet our principal, Mrs. Joyner. You can see her in the middle of the picture holding Wally.
Next on the tour of the school we met up with our Spanish teacher, Mrs. Spain. She taught us how to say "hello" in Spanish. Hola!
And finally it was back to the classroom
to work learning some short "o" words.
We let Wally join us.
